Almost all Cosmetic Tattoo procedures are multi session processes.

You are required to come back for one touch up adjustment visit before it can be determined that your work is complete.
Adjustment visits are scheduled at 6 week intervals or longer.

Be prepared for the colour intensity of your procedure to be significantly sharper, brighter or darker then what is expected for the final outcome. It will take time for this transition depending upon how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates.

  • Any tweezing, tinting or waxing should be done at least 48 hrs prior to procedure. No eyelash extensions to be worn with any eyeliner treatments.

  • Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly or redden, some clients feel its best not to make any social plans for a day or two following any procedure. Procedures may take longer then expected to complete under some circumstances.

  • Do Not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-tattooed condition.

  • If you are having lip procedures and have a history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpex simplex, you will be required to obtain the proper antiviral tablets by a prescription or over the counter to prevent an outbreak.

  • Refrain from use of alcohol, aspirin containing medications, ibuprofen, or other blood thinning medications for 7 days before and 2 days after any procedure. No medications should ever be discontinued without consulting your Doctor.

  • Do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, wind, tanning beds, hot water, saunas, salt water, pool water for at least 7-10 days following the procedure.

  • Do not pick, peel or scratch your healing skin as you may cause uneven healing of pigment, or you may risk infection or scarring.

  • A skin test patch is offered upon request. However, an allergic reaction to pigments/dyes can occur immediately after or manifest years later whether or not skin test patch is preformed. Allergic reactions are extremely rare.

Please follow the above instructions to achieve the best results.

What is confidential information?

Confidential information and trade secrets are often used interchangeably and are information that is not disclosed to the public that typically has commercial value. Confidential information can include various items, such as documents (paper and/or electronic), client lists, ideas, financial information, designs, business methods, formulas, source codes etc. Confidential information is typically communicated to others in confidence.

What is the “springboard doctrine” and how does it impact inventors?

If you share you confidential idea with a company and that information was intended to be confidential, and that information is taken, you may have a cause of action if the company just used some, and not the entirety, of your idea to develop another product. The springboard doctrine applies even if the defendant company does substantial development of your idea on its own. This is known as the springboard doctrine.

What is an NDA and how does it work?

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a document that is commonly used to have individuals sign prior to disclosing confidential information to them (for example an inventor disclosing an invention to a manufacturer). The value of the NDA is that it assists in setting the expectation of the parties with respect to the confidential information. The NDA is evidence that the parties intended the information to be confidential. This evidence may be required in litigation.

What can I do if an employee/former employee removes confidential information from my business?

For highly sensitive information, your company may obtain and interim and interlocutory injunction on an urgent basis to have the confidential information delivered up to an independent party pending the resolution of the litigation. The Court’s order can include seizing the personal computers, smartphones and freezing the online accounts of the former employee. For an interim and interlocutory injunctions time is of the essence and the motion must be brought as soon as possible.

If an employee removes confidential information from your business that is less sensitive, you can bring a lawsuit against that former employee for breach of confidence without an interim or interlocutory injunction.
